Welcome to Vocovision: The ultimate virtual platform for providing services for Special Education.

As a Vocovision teletherapist, you will provide virtual services during regular school hours to students with mild to moderate disabilities. You will also be compensated for direct and indirect hours. These positions are 1099 and you will be provided clinical and technical support while in this role, as well as support from your recruiter.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Deaf Education
Valid Connecticut teaching certification in Deaf Education
Minimum 2 years experience as a Deaf Education Teacher
Proficiency in using educational technology platforms, video conferencing tools, and online teaching resources.

Caseload/Hours:

8 Students
25-30 hours/week

Responsibilities:

Provide virtual instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, ensuring adherence to individualized education plans (IEPs) and educational goals.
Utilize online platforms and technology tools to facilitate remote teaching, including video conferencing, virtual whiteboards, and interactive educational resources.
Conduct assessments to identify students' specific needs and develop personalized teaching strategies and accommodations to meet those needs.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to design and implement appropriate modifications and adaptations to the curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' social-emotional development and overall well-being.
