Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI):

Overview:

VocoVision is seeking an experienced Teacher of the Visually Impaired, to service the needs of students for a school district in Illinois.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
Valid Illinois teaching license with endorsement in Teaching the Visually Impaired.
Experience working with visually impaired students preferred.

Job Details:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
Provide virtual instruction in core subjects, adapting materials for accessibility.
Collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to promote student success.
Utilize assistive technology and specialized resources to enhance learning.
