Michigan | Remote School Social Worker Position

Position Summary
VocoVision is looking for a licensed School Social Worker to work remotely for the 2024-2025 academic year. This full-time position will assist K-12 students facing diverse social and emotional challenges. Key duties include providing therapeutic interventions, monitoring student progress, creating Behavior Intervention Plans, and participating in IEP meetings as necessary.

Qualifications

A Master's degree in Social Work is required.
A minimum of five years of experience in a school setting is preferred.
Must hold a valid Michigan (LARA) license and a 310 Educators Certification.
Applicants from outside Michigan must be licensed in both their home state and Michigan.

Role Requirements

Professional liability insurance is required prior to employment.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role.
Candidates must successfully complete a technical screening, including internet speed and Zoom capability tests, before the interview.
