Are you a skilled and passionate Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher looking for a remote opportunity to support students in North Carolina? Look no further! 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' communication needs through audiological reports
  • Collaborate with parents and other faculty members for Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) reporting
  • Provide specialized online instruction for students with deaf and hard of hearing conditions

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Deaf Education
  • North Carolina teaching certificate in Deaf Education
  • Preferred fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Minimum two years of experience in a school setting
  • Preferred experience with teletherapy platforms (i.e., Zoom)
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office space/equipment for teletherapy

Additional Job Details:

  • All our contracts are 1099 (no taxes or benefits taken out)
  • Compensation for both direct and indirect services
  • Part time position about 3 hours per week
  • Caseload includes K-12 students with mild to moderate needs
