VocoVision is seeking an experienced and compassionate SLP to join our team remotely, providing essential speech therapy services to students across Pennsylvania. Help K-12 students overcome speech and language challenges to ensure their academic success and personal growth.
Key Features of the Role:
- Flexible Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available
- Work Environment: Fully remote, provide therapy from home
- Caseload: Diverse student group across various grade levels, addressing a wide range of speech and language needs
- Contract Type: Independent contractor (1099)
Responsibilities:
- Virtual Therapy Sessions: Provide personalized speech therapy remotely, adapting to the individual needs of each student.
- Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct virtual evaluations to assess and address speech and language needs.
- Collaboration: Partner with teachers, parents, and support staff to create and implement individualized plans for student progress.
- Behavioral Strategies: Develop methods to address communication disorders and behavioral challenges in a school setting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Certification: ASHA-certified (CCC-SLP) and eligible for or holding a Pennsylvania state license to practice.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in a school-based or pediatric setting.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, families, and educational teams.
- Tech-Ready: Proficiency with virtual platforms and online therapy tools (e.g., Zoom, therapy software).
