You’ll work with diverse students, helping them navigate communication challenges and achieve their full potential. Partner with educators and families to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and offer tailored therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and fluency disorders; develop and implement personalized IEPs.
• Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment.
• Work in partnership with educators, parents, and school staff to support effective communication strategies.
• Perform screenings, keep detailed records, and take part in multidisciplinary team discussions for comprehensive planning.
• Champion students’ communication needs, train staff, and pursue professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
• Kansas SLP license required
• ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
• Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast/reliable computer & internet connection 
  • No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
