Position Overview: As a Remote School Counselor with VocoVision, you will provide virtual counseling services to students in Texas, helping them navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges. This role requires a skilled professional who can deliver effective counseling remotely, utilizing digital tools to connect with students, parents, and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions with students to address academic, social, and emotional concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized counseling plans and strategies to support student success.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to address student needs and provide appropriate interventions.
• Monitor student progress and adjust counseling strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in school counseling.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Valid Texas School Counselor certification or license.
• Previous experience as a school counselor or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong understanding of virtual counseling techniques and digital communication tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
