West Virginia Special Education Teacher - Fully Remote
VocoVision is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to work remotely with a school district in West Virginia. VocoVision has more than 12 years of experience supporting remote educators and is uniquely equipped to help teachers deliver their services virtually.
Overview:
- Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
- Hours include both direct and indirect services
- Monday-Friday, 7:30-3:30
- Contract position
- Must be able to pass tech screening and provide liability insurance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Create and adapt instructional materials to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct instruction to students through videoconferencing.
- Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other educators to ensure a comprehensive support system for each student.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- West Vriginia teaching certification in Special Education K-12.
- 2 or more years of experience working as a special education teacher onsite.
- Comfortable with technology and virtual teaching platforms.
- Dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
