Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity | North Carolina

VocoVision has teamed up with a fantastic school district in North Carolina to hire a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position during the 2024-2025 school year. Note: You do not need to reside in North Carolina to apply; however, you must hold a license for both the state you live in and the state where you will work.

Job Details:

• Position: Full-time for the 2024-2025 school year
• Hourly Rate: $45-$47/hr, paid weekly (depending on virtual experience; covers direct and indirect services)
• Contract Type: Independent contractor
• Professional Liability Insurance: Required upon offer
• Further details on schedule and caseload will be provided during a Zoom interview with the director/coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Conduct remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses of speech, voice, hearing, and language disorders
• Primarily focus on supervision and indirect services
• Collaborate remotely with teachers and school staff to implement interventions

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a school-based setting is required

Certification:

• North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Current state clearances (including fingerprints, TB testing if applicable, background check, etc.)
